Medical Korean dramas are my favorite genre type of dramas to go to whenever I need some suspense and actions (i.e. Doctors and nurses working hand in hand together trying to save patients who are in desperate need or critical conditions) to spur me up and get my adrenalin rush. Na Yi-je (Namkoong Min) works as an ace doctor in the emergency department of a university hospital. He treats his patients with dedication and without discrimination. However, his medical license was suspended due to a medical malpractice that he was involved in. As a result, he was forced to leave the hospital.

He then applies to work at a prison hospital with the intention of getting rid of the current prison chief doctor, Sun Min-shik (Kim Byung Chul) and take over from him. His plan is to gather sufficient evidence so that he can take revenge against the hospital that ousted him.

Review:
This is a medical revenge drama that is full of suspense and action. Killed it as a revenge type of drama. If revenge drama is the type that you fancy, you will enjoy it thoroughly. The acting was top notch for the main leads. The characters were trying to outsmart one another making it worth watching.

Do Joong-eun (Park Jin-hee) a talented medical doctor, was asked to join the UDC (Undiagnosed Disease Center). She joined them while experiencing difficulties in her personal life. At UDC, another industrial doctor, Heo Min-ki (Bong Tae-gyu) and her worked closely together with the rest of the UDC team to resolve and uncover the truths behind the industrial accidents, of which, some of the victims were killed due to unsafe practices.

These industrial accidents were covered up by the big companies who do not care about the people safety while working for them. Most of these disasters could have been prevented if safe practices and checklist were followed.

Review:
The drama relates to a real life accident that happened which is similar to the industrial accident that the drama depicts in the episodes and how it ends up. Overall, if you are the type of person who likes to see justice served to honest, hardworking people, and see those big companies being taken to task, you will enjoy this drama.

The thrills and actions with the industrial doctors uncovering the truths behind each industrial accident makes it worthwhile to watch it.

Son Seok-ki (Lee Kyu-hyung), a prosecutor who is against the practice of euthanasia, holds a grudge on Dr Cha as he is the doctor that ended the life of his son’s murderer.

Review:
This medical drama is unique such that it focuses on pain management specifically. The cause of it. The acting of Ji Sung and Lee Kyu-hyung is great, and chemistry between Ji Sung and Lee Se-young is fantastic too.

Doctor 10 Seconds

Dr Cha is also known as ‘Doctor 10 Seconds‘ in the drama. He is able to diagnose what’s wrong with a patient just by scanning them for 10 seconds. Can this really happen in real life? I doubt so though I believe there are such skillful doctors like him in reality.

Overall, the different unique cases that the pain management team face and how they help the patients make this medical drama full of empathy and love.

Dr Cha has a secret in the drama that is only revealed at the latter episodes. Watch it, you won’t regret it.
