Another drama that has everyone buzzing is the South Korean remake of “Little Women.” We all know about the Hollywood interpretations of Louisa May Alcott’s bestseller, but it sure is interesting to see how it will have that K-drama spin into it.

“Little Women” stars Kim Go Eun (Yumi’s Cells), Nam Ji Hyun (100 Days My Prince) and Park Ji Hu (All Of Us Are Dead), as a trio of sisters who wishes to escape their life of poverty. Fans of “Squid Game” star Wi Ha Joon, would also be pleased to see the young actor play the character of Laurie in the books, a student from a prestigious university who gets involved with the eldest of the sisters.

It is worth noting that this remake is loosely based on the story we all come to be familiar with. But it still tells the heartwarming tale of sisterhood and courage as they stood up to the nation’s wealthiest family. Catch this story as it is retold by the artistic direction of Kim Jee Won, whose previous work includes The Crowned Clown, Vincenzo, and Money Flower. It will air as a weekend drama and it will premiere on August 27th.
