Han Yi-han (So Ji-Sub) is an elite surgeon who graduated at the top of the best medical school in South Korea. He also specialises in two areas—general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. He seemed to be at the top of his game until one surgery changed his life. He thought he did well on it, but the patient died. This incident got his medical license revoked.

Four years later, Han Yi-han works as a lawyer, specializing in medical litigation. He now defends victims and tries to punish those that commit medical malpractice and negligence. This led him to work with a public prosecutor who lost a family member and a lover due to the surgery Han Yi-han performed. He set out on a mission to uncover the truth behind the death of his former patient.

“Doctor Lawyer” is written by Jang Hong Chul of “Mr. Temporary” and directed by Lee Yong Suk of “Haechi,” “The Village Achiara’s Secret,” and “Iljimae.”

Crazy Love

Crazy Love is described as a sweet yet chaotic romance drama between a man who pretends to have amnesia and a woman who pretends to be his fiancee because she has less time to live.

The series stars Kim Jae-wook as Noh Go-jin, the narcissistic CEO of GOTOP, an education company. He’s also the top math instructor in South Korea having an IQ of 190. Lee Shin-ah (Krystal Jung), is Noh Go Jin’s secretary and her life has gone sideways since she found out that she doesn’t have much time left to live after she was diagnosed with a terminal illness. One day, Shin-ah received a death threat directed at Go-jin and everything unraveled after that. 

Crazy In Love is directed by Kim Jung-hyun (Jugglers, My Fellow Citizens and Awaken fame) and is written by Kim Bo-gyeom, who is known for his work on the 2018 MBC series Tempted. The drama will be premiere on KBS on March 7.

A Superior Day

Based on the webtoon of the same name, the drama is about an ordinary family man named Lee Ho-cheol (Jin Goo), who works as a firefighter. One day, he found out that his next-door neighbor is a serial killer. His life turned upside down when his daughter went missing and he’s pressured into hunting down his neighbor by a contract killer.

Kwon Shi-woo (Lee Won-keun) is a charming young man who is also hiding a secret. He also happens to be Ho-cheol’s neighbor. After putting pieces together, Ho-cheol figured out that his neighbor was in fact, a psychopath. Bae Tae-jin (Ha Do-kwon) is a contract killer who intends to use Ho-cheol to kill Shi-woo. He forced him to agree under duress by threatening his daughter’s life. Tae-jin believes that the ends justify the means. 

This drama is a 24-hour runaway thriller where only the superior survives. It is scheduled to premiere on OCN on March 13, 2022, and will air every Sunday at 10:30 (KST).

The King of Pigs

The story about two men who were victims of school violence 20 years ago. One of them becomes a serial killer with a personal vendetta to punish evil. Ironically, one of them becomes a police officer who dedicates his life to catch the killer.

This drama touches on the origin of school violence and the kind that pervades modern society. Through the sad fates of the protagonists, the source of violence is unfolded in this mystery thriller series.

The King of Pigs is actually based on a feature-length animated film of the same name directed by Yeon Sang-ho. That movie became a hot topic in the Korean film industry when it got included in the 2011 Cannes International Film Festival. Catch this drama as it airs on March 17th at 11 PM on tvN.

Meanwhile, TK law firm’s chairman Choi Tae Guk (Heo Jun-ho), is a man who’s a slave to his desires. He has no qualms about doing evil to get what he wants. Does this selfishness have something to do with Soon-jae’s downfall? Find out how the story unfolds as it airs on March 18.

Except for that, he always seemed like a perfect guy who would seem to be attractive for employers. One night, he crossed paths with grim reapers, who are on a special mission to prevent suicides. He then becomes half-human and half spirit, and now has to work with the crisis management team of death angels as their youngest contract worker.

This supernatural team is led by Gu Ryeon (Kim Hee-sun) a powerful grim reaper, and her role is to save the lives of people contemplating suicide. Meanwhile, Park Joong-gil (Lee Soo-hyuk) heads the Guiding Management Team at Joomadeung. He is cold, with a powerful dark aura, but he is the best at his job of guiding the deceased.

This series is an adaptation of the South Korean webtoon of the same name. It’s a story that conveys warm sympathy and comfort to those who are living in a difficult reality.

The short drama will have only has four episodes and it follows the life of two people who have been friends for two decades. However, after they live together for two weeks to get into the process of making music, the line between love and friendship starts to get blurred.

Park Hyung Sik will star as Han Sun Woo, a handsome rookie photographer, while Han So Hee plays Seo Eun Soo, a lively girl who’s expressive with her emotions. As the two work together, the feelings they have for each other blossomed through music composition and words.

This is a much-awaited drama directed by Kim Hee Woon, who’s also the man behind “Vincenzo” and “The Crowned Clown.” Meanwhile, the screenplay is written by Chae Yoon, who penned “She Would Never Know.”

This drama is about a mysterious magician and a hot-blooded female police officer, Go Seul-hae (Kin Ki-joo), working with ghosts to solve cases based on hidden clues. Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae-jin) is one of the most popular magicians with amazing tricks up his sleeves. With looks to kill, his presence bodes well on stage and on television. Another secret ability is that he can see ghosts and communicate with them. 

Cha Cha Woong is not afraid of the ghosts and he even tells them what to do. He then gets involved with Go Seul-hae who is enthusiastic with her work. Together, they try to solve cases along with supernatural help, and as all these unfolded, Cha Cha Woong and the police officer’s relationship also develops romantically.
