I’m Not a Robot is about a wealthy man named Kim Min-kyu (Yoo Seung-ho) who is the largest shareholder of a finance company. He lives in isolation because he is allergic to other people. He develops rashes that can rapidly spread throughout his body once he makes any form of skin contact. When the Aji 3 robot was brought to his house for him to test before he decides to shell money for it, he realized that there was something strange about her. Little did he know the robot was actually a real woman named Ji-ah (Chae Soo-bin). Aji 3 was created by Ji-ah’s ex-boyfriend, Hong Baek-gyun (Um Ki-joon), in her likeness. Unfortunately, their last prototype got broken. Desperate to get the funding Baek-gyun’s team decided to bring in Ji-ah to stand as the robot. She agrees to the plan because she is also in dire need of cash. The team goes to great lengths to ensure that Ji-ah plays the part, but as they do so, Min-kyu is starting to fall for her.
