My Roommate is a Gumiho is a romantic comedy between a 999 year old nine-tailed fox named Shin Woo-Yeo (Jang Ki-yong) and a female college student named Lee Dam (Lee Hye-ri) who accidentally swallows Shin Woo-Yeo’s bead. Fully aware that swallowing a fox bead can ultimately kill a human, Woo Yeo has no choice but to tell Lee Dam her fate. Left with no idea on how to solve their current predicament, Woo Yeo suggests that they live together until they can figure out a solution. Since she has no idea on what to do about her predicament, Lee Dam agrees to Woo Yeo’s unusual request. But can this arrangement help them find the answer they need, or will it just lead to more complications?
