Dr. Romantic 2 starts with Boo Yong Joo trying to revive Doldham Hospital with difficulties after his colleagues, Kang Dong Joo, Yoon Seo Jung, and Do In Beom – left the hospital. The hospital is short of doctors now, and he heads back to Geodae Hospital to look for doctors to replace them. Three doctors joined him. Are they able to revive the Doldham Hospital?

A tragic affair destroyed the lives of Do Chi-kwang, Kim Yeong-goon and Han Tae-joo. The three join forces and become members of an internal affairs investigation team for the police and try to dig up the truth on who is behind the tragic affair.
