Centering around the romance of Yoo Si-jin (Song Joong-ki), a South Korean Special Force captain, and Dr. Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hye-kyo), a surgeon, Descendants of the Sun brings an action packed medical melodrama in the war-torn country of Uruk. Despite their differences in duty, one to the Hippocratic Oath and one a soldier that kills lives, they eventually found that fate brought them together in a medical mission away from Korea.
